Refund Policy
1. Refund rules by product

2. What “not materially used” means for Pro
A Newsongbird Pro charge is eligible for a 14-day refund when you have not materially used the paid Pro features after that charge. Material use includes, for example, accessing a subscriber-only report, creating or retaining a Pro watchlist, or receiving a Pro alert generated after the charge.
Ordinary visits to free public pages, opening the account-management page, or canceling the subscription do not by themselves make a charge ineligible.
3. How to request a refund
- Email contact@newsongbird.com.
- Use the email address associated with the order or include that email address.
- Include the Paddle order number or subscription ID when available.
- Identify the product as Newsongbird Pro, Code Template Pack, an AI micro-tool run, or a credit pack.
You do not need to submit a long explanation. We only need enough information to locate the order and verify which product was purchased.
4. Processing time
Eligible refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method. Most refunds are submitted promptly after verification and may take up to 10 business days to appear on a bank or payment-provider statement.
5. Cancellation versus refund
Canceling Newsongbird Pro stops future monthly charges but does not automatically refund the current paid month. To request a refund for the current month, contact us within 14 days and before materially using the paid Pro features.
6. Duplicate or unauthorized charges
Duplicate charges and unauthorized charges are not subject to the download or use limitations above. Contact us promptly and we will process an appropriate refund through Paddle after verification.
7. Access after refund
If a Newsongbird Pro period is refunded, Pro access for that period may be disabled. If Code Template Pack is refunded before download, the download link will be disabled. Public website features remain available.
8. Statutory rights
This policy states Newsongbird’s standard digital-product rules and does not exclude mandatory rights available under your local consumer-protection law.
